Break the Cycle of Chronic Pain and Start Living Now!

If you’ve ever been told that your chronic pain is “all in your head” or that “there is nothing more you can do”, this is for you.

This misconception has led to so many missing out on living their lives, so it is time to dispel the myth once & for all.  Like so many, this is exactly what Stephanie was told when she struggled with chronic hip pain that stopped her from doing her favorite activities: running & strength training.

She had tried traditional physical therapy, injections, chiropractic & more until she was told, “there is nothing more you can do.”  And for 3 years of her life, she believed this.  But when she noticed her pain was only increasing, and her strength was decreasing, she decided to seek further support.

You see, like Stephanie, it is possible to break free from these unhelpful messages and take control of your health & your life.  Because while yes, chronic pain can be complicated, but that doesn’t mean it has to control & shrink your life.

For instance, much of the painful feeling you are experiencing is directly due to a hypersensitivity of the nervous system.  And what contributes to that can be a variety of factors including muscle strength, movement patterns, where you hold your stress, repressed emotions & trauma and more.  And while some of those may feel vague and confusing to address on your own, you don’t need to figure it out alone (in fact, I don’t recommend it at all!!!).

As a physical therapist specializing in chronic pain for over a decade, I’m here to support and guide you on your journey to an active and fulfilling life by helping you, within the session, to learn exactly how you can reduce nervous system hypersensitivity through practical exercises, tools you can use at home, and hands on methods.  We will also address any suboptimal muscle patterns or strengthen weak muscles that may also be leading to pain, but due so in a way that respects your body’s current capacity, while helping to build resilience & strength.

After I partnered with Stephanie using an individualized mind-body, holistic approach, she was able to return to running & weightlifting! Her journey is one of 100’s that represent the power of addressing pain from all angles.

At our clinic, we believe in holistic care —addressing both the body and mind. Our approach is compassionate and personalized, focused on your unique needs and goals. By partnering with you and providing expert guidance, we can help you break the cycle of chronic pain and start living the life you deserve. There is always something you can do, and with the right strategies, you can find relief and reclaim your future. Let’s work together to find the best path forward for you!
